INTEGRATED SOLUTION THAT ENHANCES EFFICIENCY AND ACCURACY
FOR HIGHER-EDUCATION
ATLANTA and DENVER (June 3, 2008) - Onity and StarRez have
partnered to develop an interface solution that enables StarRez's
housing system to seamlessly integrate with Onity's popular
Integra electronic locking solution. The interface will enhance
data accuracy and create administrative efficiencies for higher-education
clients. StarRez is a world leader in housing and conference
software with more than 16 years of experience and more than
250 clients worldwide. Onity, one of the world's leading providers

Traditional systems require college and university staff to
manually input data, such as student names and room assignments,
from one system into another, creating greater possibilities
for data inaccuracies. The new interface will exchange key
housing information to and from the StarRez system and Onity's
Integra system. Customers have enjoyed Onity and StarRez integration
systems for more than 10 years, and enhancements are made
due to increased demand on operational efficiencies and availability
of new technology.
"This interface will save time for system administrators,
students and staff - it also integrates key components of
a college or university's back-end infrastructures," says

StarRez includes a comprehensive solution for student self-service,
including applications for housing, room selection, roommate
search and message, along with staff administrative tools
for room assignments, billing, communications such as e-mail,
SMS, mail merge, and built in reporting.

The refined integration will also help college and university
back-end systems to operate in real-time, according to Frank

information is updated in the StarRez system, which then immediately
updates all of the remaining Onity systems," Dyer says. "It
becomes a one-step process for clients with more immediate,
